We're ready before we realize it. - To leave that job (and become a #freelancer!).- To follow our dream.- To end that relationship.- To move to a new city. - To try something completely new. The problem with overthinking is that it constantly has us thinking we're not ready. Our brains want to protect us from failure (or bankruptcy, or being alone) so we look for all the reasons we're not quite ready to do something.This is especially true if the position we're in isn't necessarily a bad one: if we're somewhat comfortable, we resist making a change until we absolutely have to or until we're 100% sure we'll be successful. Instead, we should look at all the signs we ARE ready. Rather than looking for evidence we won't succeed, start looking for proof we can. Instead of waiting to be 100% sure, act when you're about 60 - 70% sure (I included that 70% for those of us who refuse to give up our overthinking). At the very least you'll have tried (and honestly, that 30 - 40% of uncertainty will probably make you go after your goals harder). #freelancerlife #freelancewriting #freelancesuccess

I hate to be the person I'm not!So, recently since I started this 100 days challenge and started freelancing as well a lot of thoughts have been going on in my mind.The most frequent one was "Are you sure about it? I mean look at Linkedin once, there you can already see tons of people giving so much knowledge, so many freelancers.. why would someone go for you?"You know what does these thoughts mean?Is that mean I'm not capable of doing it. Nope! That's not the reason!It means that I'm coming out of my comfort zone. One Big Reason Why Experimentation is Magical… 🤯“Confusion hi confusion hai solution ka pata nahi”If you read this line in the same tone, then we are on the same page. The thing is that as human beings we are bound to be confused, especially when we see a lot of options.For example, you enter an ice-cream parlor, and you see 30 kinds of flavors. What will you choose to have?Confused, right?But if you decide to take a small taste of all the flavors, you will know which one suits your palette more.Same thing goes with your career. Try and find out what you like doing the most and try out any kind of gig you can. Freelancing, content creation, blogging, vlogging, sales, do whatever you want.A year or two would be sufficient to understand what you actually want to do.But the problem here is that the person who tries as much as possible is seen with eyes filled with hatred and disrespect.
