Wow, Brynne, your eyes sound really awesome! I would randomly say they're "colorful", then watch people's expressions
Huh. My eyecolor is green, mostly, however it's dark blue around the edges - wonder what that would be called! I've always liked hazel eyes - they're my favorite.

Eye colours fascinate me, I don't know why I guess it's cuz they're like fingerprints, everyone is unique.
This is so off topic now haha, but google image search: central heterochromia. That's me - anyone else got it? I think it must mean we were kittens in past lives

Ha! However, being allergic to kittens, I wonder how that'd work out for me.

Haha, thanks Yeah, random mix of green & brown in my eyes. My favorite eye color is brown. Thosebeautiful, rich brown eyes are just stunning.
Wow, how did a conversation about kittens turn into a conversation about eye color?! It's strange how conversations work
Edit: Ooh, central heterochromia is cool! I'm not quite there. More just classic hazel. Next thing we'll all be taking closeups of our eyes! We need to make a new "eye color" thread or something! LOL

I have trouble saying what color mine are. Some have told me blue, some gray, some green, some have even said hazel. I think it depends a lot on what I'm wearing and the lighting. I've always thought hazel was used to describe green/brown eyes, so if I must choose what to call them I say gray. Though my drivers license says blue (the guy at dmv chose). I noticed only a few years ago that my dad's eyes are very similar, but he's always called his green.

I don't think blue are boring. My husband's eyes are blue and so are all 3 of my boys'.

So just a little update. The kittens turned 8 weeks old this past Saturday. They're exploring the house more and more but still call my middle son's room home base.
A few pics that I haven't shared here yet:
Belle
Ichiro
Totoro
I'll try for pictures of the other two soon. I just made an appointment for next week for Akiko to be spayed and for the kittens to have their first check up. So far every single home lined up has backed out! I'm still trying. My husband wants me to put an ad on craigslist but I'm just not very comfortable with that......IDK.

I think craigslist can be an alright place to sell, provided you ask all the right questions of potential buyers. But all in all, do what you think is best for your kittens! Totoro is adorable!

Oh my cuteness. How could anyone back out? lol
Good luck to Akiko and the kittens! I hope you'll find good homes for them soon. Craigslist would make me nervous, too. Would a rescue or vet clinic help "advertise" them?

They are all so cute!!!!! And the mama is such a loving mommy. I would be afraid of Craigslist too. At my vet's office there is a bulletin board where people can post things. If there isn't one at your vet's, maybe you could do a flyer and ask if you could post it there.

I will ask the vet. I know the have a bulletin board because I had a found dog flyer posted there before. It's worth a shot but I know most cat people I meet in there already have multiple cats. Quite a few do tnr with feral colonies. I'll see about the rescues too.
One cat is on again for her new home. One of my sisters is taking her as soon as she moves into her new house. They've wanted one of the girls since the beginning, just things have been so up in the air with her finding a new place - especially one where she can have pets.
Edit: Melaina

You would probably get some shifty people on craigslist, but you'd also just get some nice, ordinary people. If I were to use it to sell kittens I'd just ask people a tonne of questions, maybe even ask to do a home visit. But I can see why you'd not want to.
Such pretty kitties!

For craigslist ads, just put up a huge rehoming fee, ask tons of questions, and ask to do a home visit. Any cat person who knows and really loves cats will be perfectly willing to put up with it. Back out the instant someone starts dodging questions or shows lapses in knowledge. Craigslist is extremely risky, but it can be done.
