"god, i hate this!" you said, as you throw your bag on the couch. "hey, you're back early!" your friend mila said, coming into the living room. "sooo, how was the date?" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
you rolled your eyes and slumped onto the couch. "it was a disaster," you groaned. "what happened?" she asked, sitting beside you.
"first, he showed up late," you began, ticking off the points on your fingers. "then he kept checking his phone during dinner, and to top it all off, he spent most of the night talking about his ex."
"ouch," mila winced. "that sounds awful. i'm sorry you had to go through that."
"well, it's partially my fault. they warned me about him. told me he's got this "ass" personality!" you sighed. "i thought he's not because he kind of treated me right."
she shook her head. "it's not your fault that you gave him a chance. you felt hopeful, and there's nothing wrong about that."
you leaned your head on her shoulder. "do you think i'll ever find the right man for me?" she smiled softly, "oh, babe. of course, you will! just like how i found mine, you know?"
"what do you want me to do with this guy? you want me to expose him on twitter? let's put him in his place. his fans need to wake up." she says, grabbing her phone. you chuckled, lightly hitting her arm. "there's no need for that. karma's a bitch, anyway."

mila's right. you found the right man for you — matt sturniolo. you collaborated with him and his brothers a few months ago, and ever since then, you two hit it off.

you've been in a secret relationship with matt for four months now. you talked about going in public but both agreed not to yet because being both influencers, you both knew how crazy it'd be if fans know anything about your dating lives.
you're currently in their house, cuddling with matt on the couch. "sabrina's new album is out!" nick shouted and turned to you. "jesus, nick!" chris said, clutching his chest. "you don't have to shout!"
nick laughed, "oh, don't be a baby!" he sits up and asks you, "should we listen to it now?" you nodded, feeling giddy since the both of you are really looking forward to it. matt kisses your temple, smiling softly because he finds your excitement so endearing.
nick gasped loudly when he heard the part, "i beg you, don't embarass me, motherf*cker."
"GO TELL THEM!" nick yelled. "oh my god, that was good," you laughed. "that would make a good song to hard launch someone with."
"right. maybe this song is for you & matt." chris chimes in. matt playfully threw a pillow at him, causing you and nick to burst into laughter. "should i post you to this song, love?" you asked matt, half-teasing, half-serious. "i don't mind. but, are you sure you want to go public now?" he asks, his voice carrying a hint of concern.
"i think so," you replied honestly, meeting his gaze. "i mean, we've been together for four months now, and keeping it a secret feels, i don't know, unnecessary? i want to be able to share how happy you make me."
matt nodded, his hand squeezing yours reassuringly. "i understand. and i feel the same way about you."
nick grinned. "hey, if you guys are ready, why not? your fans will be thrilled. if not, who cares? it's none of their business."
chris nodded in agreement. "yeah, some have been shipping you two since day one. it's time to give them what they want."
you took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "okay then," you said, turning back to matt. "let's make it official."
"it's time to redeem yourself for all the times you went public with an embarrasing man." nick teased.
